The coach spoke about the striker who cannot stop scoring

Man City coach Pep Guardiola said in his press conference that Erling Haaland has no release clause for Real Madrid in his deal.

"It is not true, he does not have a specific release clause, not for Real Madrid or any other side," said Pep.

Haaland has been in spectacular form for City this season.

"I have the feeling that he is incredibly happy here. It's not about giving rest to the players (why I took him off), we have a squad of 20 players, if you just play with 11 then you don't have 20 players."

Haaland hit two against Copenhagen before going off.

"He's played a lot of minutes, the game was under control, and Cole Palmer is an excellent player and had a lot of enthusiasm to play. If the game was tight then Erling would have continued."

Haaland has 14 Premier League goals and 5 in the UCL already.
