Pedro: It's tough to be without my children
The former Barcelona player is in London which is now on corona lockdown
Former Barcelona player Pedro Rodriguez is on lockdown at home in London. Far away from his children, who live in Barcelona. And he misses them.
"It's hard not to see them, I imagine that there will be more people like me," said the player on El Larguero radio show on Cadena SER. "I told them to stay at home and that I miss them. And of course I would like to be with them, we hope the situation can normalise and soon we can get some better news."
The former Barcelona player spoke about the state of things in his homeland. "It's a real pity, the news we're getting from Spain, everything that's going on. The situation is uncontrollable, there's no way, no resources."
Pedro also thanked those who are keeping the world alive during the crisis. "I'd like to give thanks once more to the health workers, the security forces and those who work in the supermarkets, it's a great job that they are doing."
