According to the British newspaper 'The Sun,' West Ham United have begun talks to sign Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United this summer.
The London club have made contact with the agent of the forward, who is currently on loan at Inter Milan but is not expected to remain there.
Reports in England say West Ham have contacted Fernando Felicevich, Alexis' agent, to ask about the Chilena's future and the chance of doing a deal.
The coronavirus crisis is expected to severely alter the transfer market and the drop in prices and wages is expected to drop in the summer.
West Ham hope to take advantage of that by persuading Alexis to join them on a reduced salary, although the former Barça man's high wages could still be a problem (around 500,000 pounds a week at Old Trafford).
