The Spain coach could not believe his ears at the Ronaldo claims
“Is it April Fools today?” asked Luis Enrique, smiling, at a charity padel tournament organised by Juan Carlos Unzue, his former assistant.
The Spain coach was responding to rumours that Cristiano Ronaldo wanted him appointed as Manchester United manager.
“I’m already at the biggest team in Spain, the national team. We have 5,000 players, I have the players I want. Is there anything bigger?
“The future can change in 15 seconds. Now I’ve got to enjoy myself and I am happy where I am.”
Lucho played with with his son against Carles Puyol in the competition to raise funds in the fight against ELA.
