Last season Harvey Elliott became the youngster player to debut in the Premier League (16 years and 30 days) and in the League Cup (15 years and 174 days). The winger, who was on the books for Fulham, has been on the radar of many European sides following their relegation back to the Championship. FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG were all keen to bring the youngster in.
However, the winger has instead decided to sign for reigning Champions League holders Liverpool. It remains unknown whether he'll be part of the first-team squad next season or not. Jurgen Klopp has ruled out making any big money transfers this summer when asked about the possibility of signing Gareth Bale or Philippe Coutinho.
Elliot will be part of Liverpool's squad for their preseason clash with Napoli, in Spain, today.
