The Barca target will not play this weekend and is isolating at home

Man City defender Eric Garcia has the novel coronavirus and will not feature against Chelsea later today.

“Manchester City FC can confirm that Eric Garcia and one member of staff have tested positive for COVID-19,” said City in a statement on Sunday.

“Both personnel will now observe a period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine.

“Everyone at the Club wishes our colleagues a speedy recovery ahead of their return to work, training and competition.”

Their match against Everton last week was cancelled because of an outbreak at City but they have enough players to feature later today.
