Despite his Barça struggles, Liverpool miss Coutinho's creativity
According to former Liverpool player Danny Murphy, Klopp's side could do with more quality in the final third
Liverpool's title tilt has come under some serious pressure after a draw away at arch rivals Everton and Danny Murphy feels they are missing Coutinho.
Murphy was asked: "Is the difference between City and Liverpool at the moment City’s ability to open up tight defences with smart incisive passing and finishing in the box? Do Liverpool lack a David Silva kind of player?”
And he replied with: “I think if you ask Liverpool supporter if they would like that kind of player back ie. Coutinho then yes of course.
The Brazilian is currently going through a poor run of form and has lost his place in the best XI at FC Barcelona. Liverpool have only scored once in their last four matches, a stat which has seen Manchester City take advantage of the title race in the Premier League.
