Cristiano Ronaldo 'wants Luis Enrique as next Man United manager'

A strange claim has arisen in England about the Portuguese forward's desire

The first names are appearing to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Manchester United manager. The Norwegian was binned after the latest humiliating defeat, a 4-1 beating by Watford.

However it’s not just the board having ideas about who should be coach. According to Sky Sports, Cristiano Ronaldo wants Luis Enrique to be in charge.

It seems strange, given Lucho is happy in charge of Spain and Ronaldo was a rival while the coach looked after Barcelona.

Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher will take charge of affairs until a replacement is found for Ole.
