The Blues are signing the England winger from Pep Guardiola's side

Raheem Sterling is close to swapping the sky blue of Manchester City for Chelsea’s deep blue. The deal with the Blues is total according to sources in England, with the player ready to move on a deal until 2027 for 45 million pounds plus 10m euros in variables, which is close to 65m euros total. If the deal is confirmed it will be their first summer signing.

Sterling has been at City for seven seasons and developed well under Pep Guardiola, but fell out of favour a bit last season. Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez’s arrival mean he is looking for the exit.

City have already sold Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal. Last season Sterling was the second top scorer City had in the Premier League, with 13 goals, behind only Kevin de Bruyne, on 15.

At Chelsea he could be a key player with Romelu Lukaku leaving to Inter Milan and Timo Werner struggling.
