Incidencias

Partido disputado en Stamford Bridge.

David Luiz scored the winning penalty after Eric Dier and Lucas Moura had missed for Spurs.

First half goals from Ngolo Kante and Eden Hazard moved Chelsea ahead in the tie after they lost the first leg 1-0 at Wembley.

However, Spurs, who were without Son (Asian Cup duty), Dele Alli and Harry Kane (both injured), improved after the break with a change of shape.

Fernando Llorente, who scored an own goal last weekend and struggled in the first half here, headed in to make it 2-2 in the tie.

There were no more goals and with away goals no longer valid in this competition, the game went straight to penalties after 90 minutes.

Christian Eriksen, Willian, Erik Lamela and Cesar Azpilicueta all converted from 12 yards before Dier missed for the visitors, missing the target.

Jorginho then cooly moved Chelsea ahead, before Moura missed, setting the stage for Luiz to score the winning spot kick for the home side.

Chelsea, then, not Spurs will mean Man City in next month's final at Wembley. Guardiola's side had a much easier semifinal: they beat third division side Burton Albion 10-0 on aggregate.
