Bale and Griezmann? Man Utd's promise to keep Jose Mourinho
The English club don't want to lose the Portuguese coach
PSG have been strongly linked with him in recent weeks
Manchester United want to avoid losing Jose Mourinho to Paris Saint-Germain so will make him a succulent offer: an annual contract worth 22 million euros and big name signings to guarantee success.
Some media reports have suggested Mourinho has been in contact with PSG in recent weeks. The French club are looking for a coach to replace Unai Emery, whose days in Paris seem numbered despite the official denials. United know PSG don't mess around and will move to tie down the Portuguese.
The answer at Old Trafford will be to increase Mourinho's wage as well as offering him the backing to sign the top level players he wants.
Antoine Griezmann and Gareth Bale are the two top objectives. Neither are going through their best moment, but Mourinho believes they would adapt perfectly to his team's style of play.
It's also come out that if Mourinho leaves United at the end of the season, the English club could receive 33 million euros. It sounds a lot, but it's something PSG would perhaps be happy to pay.
