Manchester United are pushing hard for right back Marc Jurado, whereas Everton want Gerard Gonzalez

Although Barça have the '2004 Generation' under control, it hasn't stopped other sides from trying to poach away some of the young stars. The main focus of attention has been towards full backs rather than midfielders.

Last January, Juan Larios told Barça he was leaving and his future seemed to suggest he would join Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. For a few reasons, he hasn't appeared for City yet. Although that doesn't mean he will be returning to La Masia either.

On the other half of Manchester, United are also looking to convince a full back to make the switch to England. Marc Jurado has exploded onto the scene with Barça's youth sides and is one of the team's leaders. United formally asked Barça about Jurado's situation. Internally, the Camp Nou offices are confident of agreeing terms on a new deal for the in-demand right back.

Another bright spark in the youth ranks at Barça is Gerard Gonzalez. Like Jurado, his performances haven't gone unnoticed throughout Europe and he's even shone for Spain's U16 side. Everton are interested in the left back and the player's representatives aren't ruling anything out at this stage.
