After the Brazilian's contract at Chelsea expired, he's now moved across London to join Arsenal

Willian Borges has joined Arsenal. The London club announced the signing of Willian on Friday morning after he decided to leave Chelsea on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old Brazilian has penned a three-year deal for Mikel Arteta's side. Neither he nor Pedro Rodriguez played in the second leg of Chelsea's match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League after agreeing deals with other clubs.

This finally brings an end to the rumour of Willian joining Barça. Whilst Valverde was in the dugout, the stories would surface about a move for the winger but nothing ever came of it.

Willian enjoyed seven largely successful seasons at Chelsea, playing a total of 339 matches, scoring 63 goals and providing 62 assists. He picked up two Premier League titles, a Capital One Cup, an FA Cup and a Europa League.
