Official: Borja Iglesias signs for Real Betis
The Andalusians paid 28 million euros to reunite Rubi with the Panda
Real Betis have signed Espanyol striker Borja Iglesias, reuniting the forward with his coach from last season Rubi, who made the move south a few months ago.
Espanyol said that Betis paid "the full release clause of 28,140,000 million euros for the Galician player".
The 26 year old signed for Espanyol last season from Celta and scored 20 goals, 17 in La Liga, in a very impressive year.
His performance helped the Pericos to finish seventh and reach the Europa League.
