The Catalan club will look for a replacement Semedo if they can sell him

Norwich City have rejected an offer from Barcelona for young right-back Max Aarons, who has also been linked with some of Europe's other biggest clubs.

Barça, according to Sky Sports, proposed taking the England U21 international on loan with an option to buy next summer. They face competition from Bayern Munich.

Aarons has a contract until 2024 and has played 84 games for Norwich. He was involved in their opening day win over Huddersfield last weekend in the Championship following their relegation from the Premier League.

Transfer market expert David Ornstein says the player's representatives have already reached an agreement over a 20 million deal with Bayern.

Aarons has also been linked with Tottenham, Wolves, Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen this year.
