Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante did not train on Wednesday because of the coronavirus.

The Frenchman is afraid of contracting the virus and was allowed not to participate by his club, having attended the day before.

English reports say that Kante is nervous about retuning to action while the virus continues to kill. Chelsea coach Frank Lampard backs the player’s stance.

Black people are almost twice as likely to die from the coronavirus as white people according to statistics. Kante will train at home in the meantime.

Troy Deeney of Watford also does not want to train because of the fears about the virus.
