The Madrid and Brazil winger has been the subject of racist insults again

Carlo Ancelotti appeared ahead of the Club World Cup semi-final between Real Madrid and Al Ahly and did not hesitate to publicly defend Vinicius.

"The problem is Vinicius? Vinicius' teammates? What does Vinicius have to defend himself against? The problem is what happens around Vinicius. And that's the end of it. It's a problem in Spanish football that we have to solve. Vinicius is the victim of something I don't understand," Ancelotti said.

Vinicius is in the eye of the storm after receiving more racist insults in Real Madrid's match against Mallorca at the weekend. LaLiga are investigating the events.

Ancelotti also said of the Club World Cup: "It's a very important tournament. It means that we have done things well. We are very excited. We want to win the trophy in a country (Morocco) where we have a lot of fans before thinking about the next challenges."
