Spain will face Germany, Japan, Costa Rica or New Zealand at World Cup 2022
La Roja got to the Euros semis and are among the favourites for the tournament
Spain have been picked in Group E for the Qatar 2022 World Cup and they face Germany, Japan and one of New Zealand or Costa Rica.
They will debut against whichever of the two teams win the latter on November 23, before facing Germany on Sunday 27, the second match, before they face Japan on December 1.
Spain are among the favourites to win the World Cup, for what would be the second time in their history.
Luis Enrique’s side got to the semi-finals fo the Euros last year but were knocked out by Italy, who did not qualify for the World Cup.
