Messi and Busquets are both out of contract with their respective clubs in June

Expectations are high at David Beckham's Inter Miami. The American club are hoping to bring in Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets next season.

The Major League Soccer transfer window closes on April 15 but reopens at the end of June.

The club hopes to convince Messi by offering him some of the club's shares and there is even talk that the MLS itself could pay the salary of the Argentine between all the teams as part of a project in which they will also try to get Busquets.

Luis Suarez has been ruled out. He is not in the American team's plans. Phil Neville's team hope to continue to grow with Messi as the star.

Messi is out of contract with Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and has not yet decided his next move. The French club want to renew him and Barcelona are also keen on resigning him, although have financial limits.

Busquets' contract expires at Camp Nou in June. He has an offer to extend for an additional year with a pay cut.
