Simone Zaza is all set for a return home to Italy. The striker, who played for Valencia last season, has agreed a four-year deal to join AC Milan.
According to "Gazzeta Dello Sport", the agreement will see Zaza earn €2.5m per season at his new club. However, it'll be part of a threeway transfer deal involving AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and Juventus.
In order to finalise the arrival of Zaza, Milan first need to close the deal which will see Kalinic join Atletico Madrid for €30m. Then Kevin Gameiro will be allowed to leave Atleti to sign for Valencia in a €16m transfer. This will free up Zaza to join Milan, initially on loan, but with an obligation to make the deal permanent next summer.
Milan are still searching for a way to bring in Lazio's striker Ciro Immobile as they could lose both Kalinic and Andre Silva this summer. However, a deal for Immobile is complicated due to the current financial woe of the Milan club.
