The Dortmund advisor joked about the forward's possible move to England
Matthias Sammer has referred to the possibility of Erling Haaland signing for Manchester City. The Borussia Dortmund advisor joked about the financial offer from the English side.
Speaking to Amazon Prime, Sammer said of City's offer to the player: "I've had whiplash ever since! I fainted and my wife had to pick me up!"
On Haaland working under Pep Guardiola, he added: “They will both benefit from each other. Because Pep of course -- I was able to experience him for three years -- has a certain idea of how the game is, although I can also imagine he can adapt to a centre-forward like Erling, no question.
“But [Pep] will also have to learn from the Haaland. It must be conditional. How long this lasts overall remains to be seen. It will be interesting."
