The Barça midfielder is open to a move to the United States in the future

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic is evaluating the various options he has on the table, some of them from Major League Soccer in the United States. The Croatian has not closed the possibility on moving to the league in an interview with an MLS podcast.

Rakitic, who is out of contract at Camp Nou in 2021, was asked about the possibility of signing for Inter Miami after talking about how much he enjoys spending time in America.

"Let's see, maybe [Miami owner] David Beckham will call me," Rakitic joked in the interview with Andrew Wiebe, Charlie Davies and David Gass.

On football in the US, the Barça man added: "You can really see it is winning every year more and more attention in the States. It's really special and I'm really happy to see this.

"I think it's really special to see the possibility of how soccer can keep going up. Then to have this feedback from the guys who were playing there you can see that it's going step by step forward and this is really important. Now you can see a game from MLS and say 'ah yes I want to see it.'"
