Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has insisted on the need to strengthen before the transfer window closes on Monday. He would like another striker but he thinks a new arrival at the back is more necessary.
In this sense, Koeman didn't hide when asked about Manchester City defender Eric Garcia, who's out of contract next summer and Barça are trying to sign.
"There's time until Monday," he said. "It's true we want [Garcia] here. In principle, we have three of four center-backs, it's a bit tight. I can't say much more.
"I have seen [Man City coach] Pep Guardiola's comments and that's how it is. I hope we get it done, but if not, financially, we know the situation is tough, I can't say more. There's interest but I don't know if we can do it."
Koeman said a No.9 would also be welcome but the chances of bringing in Memphis Depay currently look slim.
