Arthur will join the club when the season ends in a deal worth up to 82 million euros

Fabio Paratici, Juventus' sporting director, spoke to Sky Sports on Tuesday before his side's game against Genoa, which they went on to win 3-1 to strengthen their position at the top of Serie A.

Among other things, he spoke about the signing of Arthur, who will join the club from Barcelona in a deal worth up to €82 million. Miralem Pjanic will move in the other direction for up to €65m.

"There are opportunities on the transfer market," Paratici said. "The Pjanic-Arthur swap deal is an example of that. Pjanic is an exceptional player, who's been very important for us. When this opportunity came up, he told he was happy at Juve and the only club he could go to crown his career is Barcelona.

"In exchange, we have found a player that we have followed for years, since he was playing in Brazil. Arthur is an ideal signing for Juventus. And we have ended up doing an excellent deal financially."
