The talks are wearing down and annoying Lautaro and his camp

Negotiations between Barcelona and Inter Milan for Lautaro Martinez have reached a moment of maximum tension. There is still no agreement and time is ticking to find a solution against the Italian side's hardline stance.

The website 'calciomercato' revealed that Inter have stood firm on their desire for a minimum of 85 million euros and Junior Firpo, numbers which Barcelona are not prepared to pay.

Barça offered Junior in addition to 65 million and cannot pay more but would consider including another player.

111 MILLION EUROS

The main problem is the valuing of the players. Inter don't want to drop below 111 million euros, which is Lautaro's release clause. They value Junior at around 26 million.

Barça believe that's too low if Lautaro is worth 111 million. The clubs are still talking but their postures are a long way apart.

The talks are wearing down and annoying Lautaro and his camp. The Argentine striker has made it clear he wants to sign for Barcelona and feels the club are creating too many obstacles during an economic crisis for football.

Lautaro wants the issue resolved and the rumours to stop. Barça are clear they will only pay a fair price for Lautaro and know the striker will all he can to force the move.
