Manchester City are best placed to sign the player

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Juventus before the end of the transfer window. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, he informed the club of his intentions last night.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City are currently best placed to sign the striker. However, PSG could also be an option if Kylian Mbappé signs for Real Madrid. As reported by SPORT, Manchester City are currently in discussions with Ronaldo's camp regarding a possible deal.

Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, is currently in negotiations with Manchester City about a transfer. According to Sky Italia, the 'Cityzens' have already offered between 25 and 30 million euros to Juventus for the player, and would also be willing to include Gabriel Jesus in any deal. They have agreed to pay the player around 15 million euros a year, which is roughly half of his current salary. The biggest obstacle remaining is the size of the transfer fee, with an agreement yet to be reached with 'The Old Lady'.
