The transfer window is coming and RMC has shared a CIES study into the value fo footballers across Europe. Some of the data is particularly surprising, but especially Neymar's valuation.
According to the report, Neymar is worth 82 million euros. That's almost 150 million less than Paris Saint-Germain surprising and even more surprising when considering teammate Marquinhos is valued higher, at 89 million.
Top of the list is another of Neymar's teammates, the France star Kylian Mbappe, who is rated at 259 million. He is followed by Raheem Sterling (194.7, Manchester City), Jadon Sancho (179.1, Borussia Dortmund), Trent Alexander-Arnold (171.1, Liverpool) and Marcus Rashford (152.3, Manchester United).
The study also surprised in terms of Barcelona. Eighth in the list is France forward Antoine Griezmann, with a value of 134 million, slightly more than Barça paid Atletico Madrid for him one year ago.
But Lionel Messi is only said to be worth 100 million, perhaps reflecting the fact he turns 33 this month and only has one year left on his Barça contract.
However, Cristiano Ronaldo, now 35 and playing his football at Juventus, is worth even less than the Argentine. The Portugal international now only has a market value of 62 million.
