RMC have revealed the punishment handed out to the midfielder, who is expected to leave the club on a free transfer this summer

PSG's wantaway midfielder Adrian Rabiot was hit with a heavy sanction after giving Patrica Evra's video a 'like' following the French club's defeat against Manchester United in the Champions League.

Rabiot has already accepted the decision by PSG, as revealed by RMC Sports. After a meeting with Jean-Claude Blanc and Antero Henrique on the 27th March after he 'liked' Patrice Evra's controversial celebration video. It was said to have caused damage to the image of the club and especially due to how public Rabiot's error was. They warned the midfielder about he was obligated to show loyalty to the team and shouldn't do anything which could disrupt the harmony of the squad.

Rabiot was suspended without pay for six days, which was backdated to the 15th March. The midfielder admitted that he didn't know how much damage his 'like' would cause and hoped that he would be given a chance to rejoin first team training next week.
