The French club will turn to the Senegal star if the Brazilian leaves

Neymar's Paris Saint-Germain exit is almost desired by the French club now as opposed to viewed as a negative. The Brazilian is not happy wt the Ligue 1 champions and the club have decided to focus their efforts on keeping their other big star, Kylian Mbappe, instead.

Given the panorama, PSG's sporting director, Leonardo, has begun to look into who could replace Neymar ahead of a possible departure in the summer.

According to France Football, the player they like the most in the French capital is Sadio Mane. The Liverpool forward, who placed fourth in the Ballon d'Or last week, has grown into one of the best players in the world over the last two seasons.

Obviously, though, Liverpool will not make it easy for PSG. The Senegal international is part of the European champion's much feared trident, along with Firmino and Salah. At Anfield, they don't even want to hear a word about any of those players leaving and wouldn't entertain any offer north of 100 million euros.

ADDING TO THE PSG SQUAD

As well as Mane, there are other players on Leonardo's mind to strengthen the squad in various positions. According to the previously cited French media, the players are Youcef Atal, Mattia de Sciglio, Kalidou Koulibaly and Eduardo Camavinga.

With the exception of Koulibaly, the majority of those players are either stop gaps or more long-term projects as opposed to headline-grabbing signings.
