Official: Georginio Wijnaldum signs for PSG
The Dutch midfielder took the far bigger offer from the Parisian club
The news has now been confirmed. Georginio Wijnaldum will not be a Barcelona player. He’s signed for Paris Saint-Germain, despite coming close to Camp Nou.
The player will be at the Parc des Princes until 2024, after snubbing Barca’s offer in favour of the Parisians’.
They offered double the money with Barca president Joan Laporta unwilling to stretch the club’s finances too far.
Barca signed Aguero, Eric Garcia and Emerson and are trying to bring in Memphis Depay.
