Neymar was sent off for the first time as a PSG player

Cavani scored a stoppage time leveller in the 2-2 draw

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar was sent off for the first time in the French league since joining the club from Barcelona in the summer.

It came in the clasico against Marseille and left PSG with a player less -- they were a goal down, too. Despite that, a late free-kick from Edinson Cavani rescued a 2-2 draw.

Once the game ended, Neymar came down hard on the referee. The Brazilian said he wanted to be the star of the game in quotes to Esporte Interativo after the match.

"I think it was an exaggerated an unfair decision," said. "I was on the receiving end of a foul throughout the whole game and I have a lot of marks on my body.

"I suffered a foul. It was a play in which I tried to continue after receiving a foul from behind... In the end, I said to the referee that he should book [the other player]. Look at what he did, I said to him.

"The referee looked at me and did what he wanted, sending me off. He wanted to be the centre of attention more than the players."
