The PSG forward clinched the French championship on Saturday night

Lionel Messi added another title to his impressive list of honours with the Ligue 1 title he won on Saturday with Paris Saint-Germain.

It is the third title in Leo's career in France after also winning the 2021-22 league title and the French Super Cup in 2022.

The Argentine forward now has 43 trophies, counting club and national team, to the 44 of the Brazilian Dani Alves, who remains the player with the most titles.

It will be possible for Messi to overtake his former Barça teammate, who is currently in prison on sexual assault charges, as next season he will probably win more, regardless of the team he chooses to play for when his PSG deal expires this summer.

In addition, in 2024, Argentina take part in another Copa America where he will have another chance.
