L'Equipe: Edinson Cavani will stay at PSG
The Uruguayan forward will not be going to Simeone's Atletico Madrid
Atletico Madrid will not be signing Edinson Cavani in the winter transfer window. The Uruguayan forward will be staying at PSG until the end of the season, when his contract expires.
The Parisian club has not accepted two offers from the Rojiblancos, the first of 10m euros and the second of 15m.
Simeone's team are thinking of making a third push for 18m, if they can sell Thomas Lemar. PSG have said before they will only accept if the offer reaches 20 million.
Cavani is PSG's record goalscorer, with 198 strikes.
