Thiago Silva's career at Paris Saint-Germain is reaching its end. The Brazilian's contract ends on June 30 and only the re-start of competitions before then will allow him to appear for the club before then.
Sporting director Leonardo is looking for a replacement and the name they like the most, according to reports in Italy, is Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly. Leonardo has offered him a contract for five seasons worth 10 million euros a year. A succulent offer which seems impossible to reject.
The main obstacle will be Aurelio de Laurentiis. The Napoli owner will not allow his star to escape easily. He is worth around 90 million euros. Koulibaly's signing will require a big economic effort from PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
