Edinson Cavani signs on at PSG until 2020
The Uruguayan forward, 30, has extended his contract by two more years
With 13m euros a season he is estimated to be the best paid footballer in France
Edinson Cavani, Uruguayan international, has renewed his contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2020, saying that his "absolute desire" is to continue his "story" with the French club.
In a statement PSG announced the 30 year old hitman will stay at the club "until June 30, 2020".
The Matador, whom they paid 64.5m euros to Napoli for, is one of the best strikers in their history with 125 goals in 192 official games, behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has 156 goals in 180 matches.
He has won 11 titles with PSG including three league titles, four French league cups and two French Cups. He is the best paid player in the country now, beating Thiago Silva with his 13m a year deal. He also gets a special 1m bonus for being the league's top goalscorer.
