The Brazilian's in his second season with the French club

Dani Alves is one of the key parts of Thomas Tuchel's Paris Saint-Germain side and both sporting director Antero Henrique and Qatari owner Nasser Al-Khelaïfi know it. Therefore, they're making plans to renew the Brazilian full-back's contract following his great form this season.

According to UOL Esporte, Alves, along with his agent Dinorah Santa Ana (his former partner) plan to meet with PSG this week to dicuss new terms. The former Barcelona defender joined PSG in 2017 on a two-year deal and is now in to the final six months of that contract. The extension would be for an additional year, until the end of the 2019-20 season.

Reports say Alves' good relationship with the coach and the president could be key in him deciding to continue his career at PSG. There are offers to return to Brazil and he has also expressed in the past a desire to play in the Premier League -- but that ship may have passed.

Alves is having a second youth in France and doesn't seem to have lost the level at Barça. Age is not a problem -- he turns 36 in May but remains a regular in Tuchel's side, not just as a right-back, but also in other positions furthe forward.
