Arsene Wenger wants to rob a signing from Barcelona
Arsenal's coach wants to sign Fekir to cover for the potential departure of Alexis Sanchez
The forward thinks he would fit into the Spanish league well for his style of play
He's one of the sensations of the moment. For his goals... and for his celebrations. You can guess who we're talking about. Nabil Fekir, the Lyon star, who lit up Ligue 1 with his Messi-esque celebration in their 5-0 derby win over Saint-Etienne.
SPORT have revealed that Barcelona's technical staff are analysing his performances and are interest in him, but so is Arsenal and Arsene Wenger.
The French coach wants him to team up with his former Lyon team-mate Lacazette. Fekir would in theory replace Alexis Sanchez, who seems likely to leave.
Fekir, 24, is doing well teaming up with Mariano and Depay as the top scoring trident in Europe. However he praised Spain and England for their leagues.
"If you're a Lyon man the only French club that can interest you is Lyon," said Fekir. "There's nothing that can tempt you like Spain or England, they are the most attractive leagues, they love football."
