The ego battle at PSG is just beginning. There was a scrap between Neymar and Cavani for the ball after they were awarded a penalty, which the Uruguayan eventually took and missed.
The personality clash may be decided by new signing Kylian Mbappe, who joined this summer like Neymar. The numbers point to Mbappe having a better on-pitch relationship with Neymar than Cavani.
While Neymar and Mbappe each gave Cavani two passes each, they interacted with each other much more, with L'Equipe saying they made nine passes to each other each.
Cavani received a total of 12 passes, four of those from Dani Alves. Mbappe, on the other hand, received 22. Cavani only played one pass which reached Neymar, in the last three games - Toulous, Saint-Etienne and most recently Lyon.
