Fernando Torres has announced his retirement from football. The Spanish striker, who is currently on the books for Japanese side Segan Tosu, posted the message on social media.

Torres will retire at the age of 35 after more than 18 years as a professional footballer. He's played for Atlético Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea, AC MIlan and now Sagan Tosu.
During his career Torres, who also represented his country and won a World Cup as well as two Euros, scored a total of 260 goals.
