Osasuna take the victory and the points as Granada return home with nothing on Sunday

On Sunday, Granada suffer an away defeat to Osasuna at Estadio El Sadar. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Osasuna wanted to continue adding points after a 1-1 draw against Valencia. Granada, on the other hand, secured a point against Villarreal in their previous match. As the table looks today, Osasuna are in 17th place, with 19 points from 20 matches, while Granada sit in 7th, with 28 points from 20.

The first half of the game started favourably for Osasuna, following Ante Budimir opening the scoring in the 27th minute. Later, Osasuna scored again and increased their lead thanks to another goal from Ante Budimir, scoring his second goal in the 39th minute, to take a 2-0 lead into half time.

The second half started in favour of Granada, beginning with early goal from Luis Suarez in the 50th minute. However, Osasuna just before the final whistle increased their advantage via a Jon Moncayola goal, sealing a resounding 3-1 victory for the home side.

For Osasuna Ruben Garcia, Juan Cruz, Jonathan Calleri, Jon Moncayola and Roberto Torres came on for Jony, Manuel Sanchez De La Pena, Ante Budimir, Inigo Perez and Enrique Barja, while Granada replaced Quini, Jorge Molina, Roberto Soldado, Antonio Puertas and Fede Vico with Dimitri Foulquier, Jesus Vallejo, Carlos Neva, Robert Kenedy and Luis Suarez.

The referee booked Manuel Sanchez De La Pena, Facundo Roncaglia, Jonathan Calleri and Lucas Torro from Osasuna and Facundo Roncaglia (2 yellow cards) went off with a red card, while Granada's Jesus Vallejo, Dimitri Foulquier and Domingos Duarte also received yellows.

Osasuna will play their next fixture away against Real Betis, while Granada will face Celta at home.
