Diego Martinez's squad were defeated away by Huesca at El Alcoraz on Sunday

Huesca beats Granada 3-2 on Sunday at El Alcoraz. Both Huesca and Granada came from defeats in their previous league games. Huesca were looking to get back winning ways after losing their last game 1-0 to Seville. Granada, on the other hand, were beaten 2-1 in the previous match against Atletico Madrid. As it stands, Huesca are in 20th place, with 19 points from 24 matches, while Granada sit in 9th, with 30 points from 24.

It was an impressive opening from Granada, with Domingos Quina opening the scoring, 8 minutes in. However, the good form didn't last for long. An equalizer from a goal from Dani Escriche, 31 minutes in brought Huesca level. Later, Huesca scored again thanks to a goal from Jorge Pulido, 39 minutes in to establish the 2-1. Later, Huesca took the lead with a goal form a calamitous own goal from Dimitri Foulquier in the 44th minute just before half-time and the first half ended 3-1.

Granada took the initiative in the second half, beginning with a goal from Alberto Soro, 59 minutes in, sealing a resounding 3-2 victory for the home side.

For Huesca, Idrissa Doumbia, Shinji Okazaki and Juan Carlos came on for Fede Vico, Dimitri Foulquier, Alberto Soro, Yangel Herrera and Domingos Quina, while Granada replaced Fede Vico, Dimitri Foulquier, Alberto Soro, Yangel Herrera and Domingos Quina for Jorge Molina, Darwin Machis, Yangel Herrera, Robert Kenedy and Domingos Duarte.

The referee booked Mikel Rico, Pablo Insua and Jaime Seoane from Huesca. Granada had the worst of it though, with Rui Silva, Nehuen Perez and Victor Diaz seeing yellow, and German Sanchez then sent off with a red.

Huesca will next travel to Eibar, while Granada will face Elche at home.
