Villarreal sways pass Valencia 2-1 on Sunday at Estadio de La Ceramica. Villarreal wanted to improve their position in the tournament after a 0-0 draw against Atlético Madrid while Valencia lost by a result of 0-2 in the previous match against Real Betis.
