Victory beyond reach for Barca, as they only manage a 1-1 draw with Granada

On Monday, Barca and Granada were held to a 1-1 draw at the Nou Camp. Barca were looking to pick up points after winning last match while Granada lost 2-1 in the last match they played against Real Betis. After today's result, Barca are in 7th place on the table and has 8 points while Granada sit in 17th with 3 points after 5 matches.

Granada started the game well, thanks to an early goal from Domingos Duarte in the 2nd minute, seeing out the first half 0-1.

Barca took the initiative in the second half, with Ronald Araujo finding the net just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 1-1.

For Barca, Óscar Mingueza, Luuk De Jong, Gavi, Riqui Puig and Gerard Pique, came on for Alejandro Balde, Sergi Roberto, Philippe Coutinho, Sergio Busquets and Yusuf Demir. Granada brought on Angel Montoro, Carlos Neva, Luis Suarez, Maxime Gonalons and German Sanchez, to replace Yan Eteki, Sergio Escudero, Jorge Molina, Antonio Puertas and Luis Abram.

There were bookings for Óscar Mingueza, Ronald Araujo and Gerard Pique from Barca, and Angel Montoro, Maxime Gonalons, Luis Maximiano, Monchu, Quini and Carlos Bacca, for Granada.

Barca will next travel to Cádiz, while Granada will face Real Sociedad at home.
