Former Real Madrid defender Raul Bravo is said to be the chief of the operation

Spanish police have arrested variious Primera and Segunda Division footballers as supposed members of a criminal organisation dedicated to match fixing to make money through bettings, according to Servimedia. 

As part of the operation, a number of players have been detained, along with Huesca president, Agustín Lasaosa,and the head of the club's medical services, Juan Carlos Galindo. 

Among the players arrested is former Real Madrid youngster Raul Bravo, who is said to be the head of the organisation. He has been retired since 2016. 

Borja Fernández, who has just hung up his boots with Real Valladolid, Carlos Aranda, also retired, Samu Saiz, currently with Getafe, and Deportivo La Coruña's Íñigo López have also been arrested.

All of them are charged with the crimes of belonging to a criminal organization, corruption among private individuals and money laundering.
