Alavés staggered past Valladolid in a 0-2 victory on Sunday at José Zorrilla. The second half started favourably for Alavés, with a goal from Tomas Pina 55 minutes in the game. Later, Alavés scored again and increased their advantage 0-2 thanks to a goal from Borja Sainz in the 85th minute just before the end of the second half, finalising the game with a 0-2.

The referee booked Toni Villa and Nacho Martinez saw the red card, for Real Valladolid.
