Valladolid suffers defeat against Alavés with a 0-2 at José Zorrilla

Alavés staggered past Valladolid in a 0-2 victory on Sunday at José Zorrilla. Real Valladolid faced the encounter with a desire to add more points to their locker after a draw against Huesca (2-2) while Alavés lost by a result of 0-2 in the previous match against Elche. At the moment, Real Valladolid is 20th in the LaLiga table with 3 points from 7 matches, while Alavés sits 15th with 7 points after 7 matches.

The first half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.

The second half started favourably for Alavés, with a goal from Tomas Pina 55 minutes in the game. Later, Alavés scored again and increased their advantage 0-2 thanks to a goal from Borja Sainz in the 85th minute just before the end of the second half, finalising the game with a 0-2.

For Valladolid, Raul Garcia, Marcos De Sousa, Roque Mesa, Luis Perez and Oscar Plano came on for Joselu, Edgar Mendez, Jota and Lucas Perez, while Alavés brought on Deyverson, Martin Aguirregabiria, Manu Garcia and Borja Sainz to replace Joselu, Edgar Mendez, Jota and Lucas Perez.

The referee booked Toni Villa and Nacho Martinez saw the red card, for Real Valladolid.
