Two-goal Casemiro Madrid's unlikely match winner against Sevilla

Sevilla on away loss to Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday. Real Madrid went into the match knowing victory after winning away by a 0-3 victory against Getafe while Sevilla scored a 1 draw against Athletic, adding a point in the last match played of the competition. At the moment, Real Madrid is 1st in the LaLiga, having garnered 43 points from 20 matches, while Sevilla sits at 4th with 35 points after playing a total of 20 matches.

 There were no goals during the first half of the game.

 Real Madrid took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Casemiro in the 57th minute. Sevilla gave an equalizer thanks to a goal from Luuk De Jong 64 minutes in the game to establish the 1-1. However, Real Madrid in the 69th minute took the lead thanks to a new goal from Casemiro, scoring his second goal, which saw the second half to a 2-1.

 At the end of the match, both teams made 3 substitutions each. For Real Madrid Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior and Ferland Mendy came on for Luka Jovic, Rodrygo and Marcelo, and Sevilla brought on Youssef En-Nesyri, Oliver Torres and Rony Lopes for Munir El Haddadi, Franco Vazquez and Ever Banega.

 The referee booked Luka Modric, Dani Carvajal and Casemiro from Madrid, while for Sevilla Ever Banega saw a yellow card as well.
