La Liga president Javier Tebas spoke to Cadena Cope last night and pronounced himself on various topics.
Inaki Williams: "You have to do what Espanyol did, go for them (the racists). Espanyol should kick them out of the club."
Florentino Perez: "Florentino thinks in a different way, we have a diffeent idea of what La Liga should be. He wants world leagues, or planetary leagues, or bigger. And we want La Liga to be No 1. It's been over two years since I spoke with Florentino. We have greeted each other, but not a conversation."
Rubiales rivalry: (Asked what he thought about Iker Casillas or Rajoy becoming RFEF chief) "The one I don't like is Rubiales, after that...."
Super Cup: "They have tried to sportswash the Saudi Arabia regime. I promise not to take tournaments to places where they don't respect human rights."
Pep Guardiola: I'd like to see Guardiola back in Spanish football, although we're at opposite poles ideologically. But not in charge of the Spanish national team, he'd dismantle it in two days."
