Both sides unable to make the difference as Levante and Real Valladolid draw 2-2

Levante were held to 2-2 draw by Real Valladolid down on Friday at Ciutat de Valencia. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Levante arrived with the intention of increasing their league score following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Cádiz in their previous game. Real Valladolid secured a point against Elche in their previous match. After an uneventful first half, Levante took the initiative in the second half, beginning with a goal from Dani Gomez in the 62nd minute. However, they didn't maintain the lead for long though, an equalizer from a goal from Ruben Alcaraz, 73 minutes in brought Real Valladolid level. Later, Real Valladolid scored again thanks to a goal from Oscar Plano, 78 minutes in to establish the 2-1. However, their lead was short lived, with an equalizer from a Roger Marti, 83 minutes in brought Levante level. The game ended a 2-2 draw.

For Levante, Son, Sergio Leon, Gonzalo Melero, Ruben Rochina and Enis Bardhi came on for Toni Villa, Fabian Orellana and Oscar Plano, while Valladolid replaced Kuki Zalazar, Pablo Hervias and Kike Perez with Toni Villa, Fabian Orellana and Oscar Plano.

Levante will next travel to Real Madrid, while Real Valladolid will face Huesca at home.
