No supporters were allowed in to Ipurua as the coronavirus countermeasures began. They didn't miss much, in a dull game, although three penalties were awarded.

Real Sociedad won 2-1 to go fourth in La Liga, leaving Eibar two points above the drop zone.

On a CSD recommendation, La Liga banned fans from attending games for the next fortnight's worth of fixtures plus tonight, so nobody was there to see Mikel Oyarzabal net from the penalty spot in the 16th minute.

Fabian Orellana missed a spot kick at the other end and Willian Jose scored the second for Real Sociedad, before Charles got a late consolation from the spot for the hosts.
