Valencia and Real Madrid draw 1-1 on Sunday at Mestalla. The two teams arrived at this match after previous wins. Valencia went into the match knowing victory after winning their previous two matches against Levante away and Villarreal at home stadium, by 2-4 and 2-1 respectively while Real Madrid won in their last two matches of the competition against Espanyol at home stadium, and Alavés away, by 2-0 and 1-2 respectively. The referee booked Carlos Soler from Valencia, while for Real Madrid Dani Carvajal and Luka Jovic saw a yellow card as well.
